Disabled Access

McKenzie House and Throston Medical Centre have no steps or inclines and their entrances are level with the ground allowing wheel chair access.

There are manual double doors to entrance and reception/waiting areas which may require some assistance for wheel chair users.

All primary care services are on the ground floor.

There is a loop system in reception at McKenzie House for patients with hearing problems.

Both premises have a disabled toilet.

There is a dedicated car park for use by staff and patients at McKenzie House, with marked disabled parking bays.   Although there is no dedicated car park at Throston Medical Centre, there is ample parking nearby in the adjacent shopping precinct.
