Please do not come to the surgery unless you are instructed to do so by one of our clinicians.
Please contact us via telephone or use the online service to order your medication or to request a pre bookable telephone call back.
You can also use our E Consult service.
If you have been asked to provide a specimen, please take it to Victoria Medical Centre only.
Hartfield Surgery Temporarily Closed
Due to the ongoing COVID outbreak McKenzie Group Practice has taken the decision to temporarily close Hartfields Medical Centre. Patients contacting Hartfields Medical Centre will be redirected to McKenzie House. Alternatively patients can contact 01429 230000.
Whilst Coronavirus is infectious to children, it is rarely serious. If your child is unwell, it is likely to be a non-coronavirus illness, rather than coronavirus itself.
Whilst it is extremely important to follow Government advice to stay at home during this period, it can be confusing to know what to do when your child is unwell or injured.
Remember that NHS 111, GP's and Hospitals are still providing the same safe care that they have always done.
The link here will provide some direction on where to seek help depending on your child's symptoms:
Please continue to contact the practice by telephone to book an appointment or make an enquiry.
Please only attend the practice in person if you have an appointment or have been specifically asked to do so by a member of the practice team.
We ask that everyone wears a face covering or mask when attending and only come to the practice at the time of your appointment. Please do not arrive early or late and please come unaccompanied unless it is necessary for you to attend with someone.
PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND THE PRACTICE IF YOU HAVE HAD A POSITIVE COVID TEST IN THE LAST 10 DAYS.
It remains important that we continue to protect you and the safety of our staff
Please contact the surgery for more information regarding the annual flu campaign and appointments.
The practice was assessed by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) on 24th & 25th January 2018.
