NEW: Access NHS services via the NHS app now!

Download the NHS App now to access the following services;

  • book and manage appointments at your GP surgery
  • order repeat prescriptions
  • select a nominated pharmacy
  • get health information and advice
  • access NHS 111 online directly
  • ask your GP for advice (via eConsult)
  • view your medical record securely (once approved by GP surgery)
  • view your NHS number
  • verify your identity

NHS App online can also be used to access services on your desktop or laptop computer, through your web browser, if you do not have a smartphone.

If you do not wish to register via the NHS app, please contact the practice where we will be able to set you up for basic online access. This includes booking appointments, ordering prescriptions, selecting a nominated pharmacy, changing your contact details and accessing parts of your health records. All you need is a valid email address, following the confirmation of your personal details.

If you already use McKenzie Group Practice online services you can continue to use them. You can use the NHS App as well.

GP Online Services

GP online services allow you to access a range of services via your computer, mobile or tablet. Once you have signed up, you will be able to:

  • book or cancel appointments online
  • renew or order repeat prescriptions online
  • view parts of your GP record, including information about medication, allergies, vaccinations, previous illnesses and test results

You can still contact the practice by phone or in person, this is just another option, which other patients have found is more convenient and saves them time. More information including “how to” leaflets and videos of patients and why they are using GP online services are available at www.nhs.uk/gponlineservices
