GP Training

We often have a GP Registar working in the surgery. This is a fully qualified doctor who is taking additional training to become a general practitioner.  After a short introductory period  in the surgery that GP Registar will start seeing patients in his own clinics.

The practice also teaches medical and nursing students, who are early in their training. These students may sit in with your doctor. You will be told if someone is with the doctor and you may request them to leave if you prefer to see the doctor or nurse alone.
